Export and import: Individual transport tailored to your needs
Options: FTL road transport, consolidation, or air freight
Scope: From a single pallet to a full truckload
Coordination: Transport, customs clearance, and warehousing managed by a single company
To the average observer, Turkmenistan appears exotic, distant, and heavily restricted—rarely making the initial list of export destinations. Yet, we execute export and import shipments in this direction whenever our clients need them. We understand the challenges and unique characteristics of this market, which is why we never force your cargo into a rigid, one-size-fits-all template. We examine what is realistically achievable for your specific order and tailor the transport to fit your cargo, not the other way around.
We evaluate dedicated transport or the option to combine your shipment with others. Consolidation does not operate on a fixed schedule.
The ideal option for cargo that meets air carrier acceptance criteria.
We can coordinate transport, documentation, and Polish customs clearance under our comprehensive All-in-One service.
One vehicle, one route, one starting decision—yours. See what this means in practice.
Dedicated transport: We organize transport with a dedicated vehicle through the Middle Corridor, with a Caspian Sea ferry crossing straight to the port of Turkmenbashi.
Current availability check: We check current carrier availability and ferry crossing schedules before confirming the route.
Exclusive vehicle booking: We reserve the entire vehicle exclusively for your order.
Import compliance documentation: We prepare documentation in accordance with Turkmenistan’s import clearance requirements.
Direct destination routing: Your cargo goes directly to the destination country’s port and then to the customs terminal—without an additional overland leg, unlike further Central Asian destinations.
Reliable scheduling: We do not book ferry space blindly—you know that the proposed variant is actually feasible.
Full control: You have complete control over the pickup date and packaging method, without having to adapt to other shipments.
Risk reduction: Lower risk of border stops on demanding borders resulting from document discrepancies.
Not every transport requires an entire vehicle; sometimes a part of it is enough.
Shared transport: We organize transport along the same corridor as FTL, but in a vehicle shared with other shipments.
Flexible capacity: We accept cargo starting from a single pallet.
Pre-departure assembly: We complete the vehicle with other orders for the same route before departure.
Cost efficiency: You get access to the same route and the same crossing method without the cost of a full vehicle.
No full load required: You do not need to have a full load to send goods along this route.
Flexible timing: You pay less, but the departure time is not rigidly fixed in advance.
When overland transport takes too long.
We offer air transport when the priority is delivery time rather than cost.
Feasibility check: We verify whether a given cargo can be accepted by an air carrier.
Minimized handling: We organize air transport so that the goods change the means of transport as infrequently as possible between pickup and delivery.
Time efficiency: The goods arrive significantly faster than via land transport—without waiting for ferry crossings and transiting through several border countries.
Advance verification: You know in advance whether your cargo qualifies for this solution, instead of finding out during execution.
Reduced risk: Fewer transshipments mean a lower risk of cargo damage in transit—especially important for fragile or high-value shipments.
Moving freight across Central Asia takes more than just getting a truck on the road. Cargo often demands staging, custom packaging, or specialized risk coverage for long-distance Middle Corridor transit. Juggling separate suppliers means you become the full-time coordinator—chasing updates, translating requirements, and managing delays.
Our All-in-One Service consolidates your entire supply chain into a single, seamlessly managed workflow. You get one accountable partner, one dedicated contact, and a customized setup built strictly around what your business needs.
We have been operating along the Middle Corridor for years—handling transport to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and the Caucasus, we have built the know-how that ensures the route to Turkmenistan is not designed from scratch. This experience pays off to this day: behind every shipment stands one competent team responsible for the entire process.
In-house Polish customs agencies and AEO Full:
3CARGO agencies in Czechowice-Dziedzice and Piotrków Trybunalski handle customs clearance with AEO Full status—a real, verifiable proof of our customs expertise.
Middle Corridor experience:
We know the specifics of Central Asia and the Caucasus—regions that are part of the Middle Corridor. We know the conditions at crossings and with transit partners, and we know from practice how to react when the route requires changes during execution.
One department, one point of contact:
An inquiry regarding Turkmenistan goes directly to the BULL team responsible for this direction. The client gets a dedicated person who knows the cargo parameters, the prepared offer, and all previous arrangements. The same contact person at 3CARGO coordinates the flow of information between forwarding, the customs agency, and participants further down the route. When the client asks about the status, provides new data, or changes the order scope, they do not have to start the whole conversation from the beginning.
Central coordination of subsequent transport stages:
Transport to Turkmenistan consists of several stages carried out across successive countries. On the 3CARGO side, the BULL team coordinates the flow of arrangements and information between entities participating in the carriage. For the client, it remains a single order handled by a single department. They do not have to independently look for a contact for every transport participant or piece together information received from them.
“Turkmenistan presents a double-whammy of logistical hurdles: a demanding multi-border transit route paired with zero-tolerance import regulations. We refuse to leave anything to chance. By auditing every piece of paperwork before your cargo ever rolls and keeping a close eye on every leg of the journey, we’ve unlocked this high-potential market for clients who previously wrote it off as too complex to touch.”
— Łukasz Korczyk, BULL Line Manager
Moving freight between Poland and Turkmenistan requires precise cross-border clearance at both ends, multi-country transit handling, and Caspian Sea ferry coordination. Required documentation varies based on cargo specifications, trade direction, and local regulatory mandates—especially in Turkmenistan, where strict compliance rules apply.
Outbound Export Clearance
All goods departing the EU must undergo export processing. We can manage this seamlessly via your preferred broker or through our in-house AEO Full certified customs agencies in Czechowice-Dziedzice and Piotrków Trybunalski.
Inbound Clearance in Turkmenistan
Turkmenistan stands out from other Central Asian markets due to its rigorous regulatory environment. Commercial contracts typically must be registered with official Turkmen authorities prior to cargo delivery. Customs officials meticulously audit document consistency across your commercial invoice, packing list, CMR, and contract (verifying exact matching on weights, quantities, HS codes, and descriptions). Discrepancies can lead to multi-day border standstills, which is why our team audits your paperwork thoroughly before your truck ever hits the road.
What paperwork does your shipment require? We break it down into three clear categories:
At 3CARGO, we prepare an all-in quotation for the agreed transport scope. This means that right at the offer stage, we show you the total execution cost—the transport rate along with the current BAF fuel surcharge—instead of leaving you with a base rate to which you have to add subsequent elements yourself.
If your order requires additional services going beyond the standard scope, such as supplementary cargo insurance, we agree on their scope with you and include them in the prepared offer. Thanks to this, you know from the very beginning what scope of execution you are paying for and what the pricing consists of.
Cargo Parameters: Price is primarily influenced by weight, dimensions, number of units, and the space occupied in the vehicle.
Type of Transport: Consolidation is priced differently than full truckload (FTL) transport—in consolidation, you pay for the space actually occupied, thanks to combination with other shipments in our warehouse in Poland (MCS) or in a partner warehouse in Sofia. Air freight is priced separately and depends on weight, dimensions, and current airline carrier availability on a given route.
Nature of the Cargo: ADR goods may require an appropriate vehicle, additional documentation, or extra organization. This affects both the execution method and the transport cost.
Self-Pickup or Delivery: If you have your own transport, you can independently deliver the goods to our warehouse in Czechowice-Dziedzice or Piotrków Trybunalski, instead of using door-to-door pickup from any location in Poland. Similarly for collection—you can pick up the goods directly from our warehouse instead of ordering door-to-door delivery. For some orders, this solution can lower the total transport cost, especially if you already have your own domestic transport arrangement.
Additional Transport Requirements: Non-standard cargo loading methods can change the organization of transport and its pricing. The more accurately we know about the order already at the inquiry stage, the more precisely we can select the solution and prepare an offer.
Additional Cargo Insurance: If you want to extend cargo protection beyond the standard carrier liability—especially on such a long route—we can offer additional cargo insurance. Its cost depends, among other things, on the value and type of goods and the chosen protection scope. After agreement with you, we include it in the prepared offer.
Other All-in-One Services in the Same Rate: If you use the All-in-One service, we also include customs clearance, warehousing in our MCS or a partner warehouse in Sofia, and VAS services in the same all-in rate. You do not receive separate invoices from different suppliers—just one agreed quotation for the entire scope.
AND WHAT ABOUT THE BAF FUEL SURCHARGE?
BAF is a variable fuel surcharge added to the transport rate. It is given as a percentage—and precisely for this reason, it is not always obvious at first glance how much it will actually amount to.
The easiest way to show this is with an example:
Transport rate: 200 EUR
BAF: 12%
BAF surcharge: 24 EUR
Total transport cost: 224 EUR
In other words, a BAF of 12% means an extra 12 EUR for every 100 EUR of the rate—12% is calculated from the transport rate, in this example from 200 EUR, which is why the surcharge amounts to 24 EUR.
You do not have to calculate BAF yourself. In the prepared offer, we show the transport rate, the current BAF value, and the total amount, so you can immediately see the transport cost within the agreed scope.
The BAF value changes along with the situation on the fuel market, so it may differ for subsequent transports.
Note: The example is for illustrative purposes. 12% is not a fixed BAF value—we apply its current rate during valuation.
3CARGO does not use a single public price list—every quotation is prepared individually, ensuring it fully corresponds to the specifics of your order.
Starting from 25 days. Once we receive your order details, we check available options and present a realistic execution timeframe.
You can send a single pallet—this is the smallest unit we start with. We generally do not recommend sending a single carton: on such a long route, it ends up placed on a pallet during transshipment anyway, so it is better to send it in that form right from the start.
Air transport is not always more expensive—in our experience, it can sometimes be cheaper and faster than road transport, depending on airline availability, the weight and dimensions of the cargo, and the current situation on the overland route. We verify the actual cost individually for each specific order.
We can deliver goods to the customs terminal in Tashkent, and the possibility of delivery to a specific address (door-to-door) is confirmed individually, depending on the pickup and delivery locations.
ADR transport is possible for selected classes after checking the type of goods—we do not handle ADR classes I and VII or store class 2 goods. We currently do not offer refrigerated transport on this route.
We organize imports from Uzbekistan—just like export, we handle transport in both directions.
We will check if it is possible—send us the type of goods, the HS code (if you know it), and the approximate quantity. We do not advise on market entry or commercial profitability, but once you already have the product and a contractor, we will gladly check the transport side for you.
Documents depend on the direction, type of cargo, and chosen transport variant. For imports to Uzbekistan, you also need to account for commercial contract registration and, depending on the goods, a certificate of conformity or import license. We check the full scope individually upon receiving your order details.
We organize customs clearance (export and import) in Poland—we can perform it in our own customs agencies in Czechowice-Dziedzice and Piotrków Trybunalski, holding AEO Full status. On the Uzbek side, we coordinate the exchange of information and documents with the importer or their customs agency.
Contract registration applies to most imports to Uzbekistan, but the scope and procedure depend on the type of transaction and the importer. We check this individually during the order preparation stage to avoid standstill at the border.
