This agreement classifies all hazardous substances produced globally, categorizes them into 13 hazard classes, and sets forth the detailed conditions under which the transportation of these materials is permitted.
In common terms, ADR transport refers to the transportation of dangerous goods that require special precautions and compliance with specific safety standards. Hazardous materials (commonly referred to as “ADR goods”) include chemical, flammable, explosive, and toxic substances.
